Frailes also boasts a Tapas Restaurant “Rayca’s”, an Indian takeaway, a steak-house, “Caramels” music bar, and the Irish Bar to name just a few. Most of the local restaurants offer “Menu del Dia” – a three course lunch with a drink, usually less than €10, although the dish choices may be limited and the quality does vary.

Many people also enjoy the short drive to Hondon de las Nieves where you can find more shops, bars and restaurants such as Bar Central, Bamboo, Rocas, La Font.

If you want fine dining or alternatives then within 20/30 minutes drive you can visit La Romana, Aspe, Elche, Novelda, Crevillente and Alicante. Elche being the City of Palms, has a bewildering array of choice and is a pleasant place for a day or evening trip.
